Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing for hands-on interaction with patients in their own homes. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients in a home care setting, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients, interpreting clinical findings and formulating evidence-based treatment plans.
• Implement structured treatment sessions, including manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions tailored to individual patient goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients on rehabilitation principles, including strength and conditioning techniques, to foster long-term wellness and injury prevention.
• Keep comprehensive documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to maintain your expertise and adapt to new methodologies in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting musculoskeletal function. You will work with a variety of individuals who are committed to improving their strength and functionality, with an emphasis on preventive care to avoid future injuries and promote overall health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is highly preferred.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, emphasizing orthopedic treatment.
• CPR certification is also preferred to ensure readiness for any medical emergencies.

Compensation and Benefits
