Work Environment

This position is located in Toms River, New Jersey, where you will work directly in patient homes as part of our Home Care division. Our team enjoys a collaborative atmosphere that fosters open communication among professionals, including other physical therapists, nurses, and medical staff. By delivering care in the home setting, we capitalize on the therapeutic environment tailored to each patient's daily life. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology and tools to assist in patient assessments and treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, utilizing standardized tests and clinical observations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with individual patient goals and rehabilitation needs, adapting approaches as necessary based on patient progress.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to enhance healing and restore function.
• Monitor patient performance, providing motivation and adjustments to treatments to ensure optimal recovery, and document progress thoroughly in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive exercises to promote self-management and injury prevention.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient treatment plans and outcomes, offering insights based on physical therapy standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of patients of varying ages, each with unique orthopedic challenges, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our goal is to deliver tailored care that meets each individual's mobility and functional goals while fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current valid state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic conditions.
• Exceptional clinical assessment and treatment skills, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within the home care setting is a plus, as it requires adaptability and innovative methods of patient engagement.
• Specialization in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrated through additional certifications or specialized training.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
