Work Environment

This position is on-site and involves directly engaging with patients in their homes across Freehold and surrounding areas. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured schedule to better accommodate both patient needs and your work-life balance. Our team comprises two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to our patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify and address each patient's unique goals and needs.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement cost-effective interventions aimed at improving range of motion, mobility, and overall functional abilities.
• Reduce reliance on medications where possible and explore alternatives to invasive surgical procedures through therapeutic methods.
• Create and oversee individualized fitness and wellness programs, promoting a holistic approach to patient healing.
• Provide compelling motivation and encouragement throughout treatment sessions, helping patients achieve their maximum potential.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans and address interdisciplinary needs.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Ensure all patient interactions and interventions are meticulously documented in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative care, sports-related injuries, chronic pain management, and rehabilitative needs. We aim to restore mobility and improve the quality of life for our patients through personalized care and targeted intervention strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean professional record free of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, as well as the development and implementation of effective exercise protocols.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly with a preference for WebPT.
• Solid understanding of physical therapy principles and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred. Candidates with additional certifications or specializations in physical therapy are highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers an attractive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
