Work Environment

As a home care Physical Therapist at Joint in Motion, you will operate principally in patients' homes, requiring a proactive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to adapt treatment approaches based on individual patient environments. This full-time position entails a Monday-to-Friday work schedule, comprising approximately 40 hours per week, allowing you to maintain a stable work-life balance while providing critical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored treatment programs based on physicians' referrals.
• Administer a variety of therapies encompassing orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine disciplines, ensuring each patient receives individualized attention.
• Deliver outstanding customer service through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, enhancing patient experience and trust.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes through coordinated care efforts and shared best practices.
• Administer skilled therapeutic interventions at patients' homes, employing scientifically-backed procedures to facilitate meaningful changes in conditions and functionalities that align with the physician's care plan.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, fostering empowerment and encouraging adherence to treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological impairments, and pediatric conditions. The ability to connect with varied age groups and demographics is essential as you will adjust your approach to meet the unique needs of every individual, helping them achieve their personal recovery goals while navigating the challenges they face in their environments.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy, with a commitment to maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.
• Proficiency in word processing and data management systems required for patient tracking and report generation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and commitment to excellence in care.
