Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients seeking orthopedic care, taking into account medical history and relevant assessments to determine treatment plans.

• Implement tailored treatment protocols that evolve based on patient progress, integrating innovative techniques and best practices as appropriate.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and address any changes in patient conditions that require adjustments to the care plan.

• Engage in effective discharge planning and provide detailed follow-up care instructions, guiding patients and their families to foster a smooth transition post-therapy.

• Foster a supportive and open communication environment with colleagues, patients, and their families to enhance overall patient experience and satisfaction.

• Participate in facility meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding clinical best practices and business operations, enhancing the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work predominantly with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse client focus also includes geriatric patients and individuals with mobility limitations. As a member of our team, you will employ customized rehabilitation strategies designed to help restore mobility, strength, and overall functionality.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation, is preferred. Experience working in a multidisciplinary team is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient documentation and care management.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
