Our modern 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources that enable our skilled therapists to offer the highest standard of care.

Work Environment

You'll be working onsite in a vibrant and collaborative environment, alongside a tight-knit team of two other physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our facility encourages an open dialogue and continuous learning, and we pride ourselves on teamwork and mutual support. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient goals to create effective, personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Manage a patient caseload that averages one client per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused and high-quality care.
• Utilize hands-on assessments to formulate comprehensive care strategies, incorporating various treatment techniques including manual therapy.
• Develop individualized fitness and wellness programs to enhance each patient's mobility, strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Reduce reliance on medications through the implementation of alternative therapies, aiming to avoid surgical interventions when possible.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journeys to foster an environment conducive to healing and recovery.
• Collaborate with and provide consultations to multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for your patients.
• Document all patient care services thoroughly, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and monitor patient progress to adapt care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients presenting with orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. You will work with diverse demographic groups, ensuring that each patient is treated holistically and supported in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Proven track record free of disciplinary actions concerning professional license, showcasing a commitment to ethical practice.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols.
• Proficient in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, with a preference for experience with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Background in orthopedic outpatient settings with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatment methods.
• Experience in conducting patient evaluations and establishing treatment protocols that lead to functional improvements.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and clinical skills.
