Work Environment

The role will operate onsite in our well-appointed outpatient office located in Howell. You will join a small team of physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) dedicated to providing exceptional rehabilitation services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that outline clear goals and intervention strategies tailored to address patients' specific needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Administer care effectively for 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring that each individual receives focused and quality treatment.
• Educate patients on their conditions and outline clear pathways to recovery, including alternative options to surgery and medication.
• Utilize manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques to improve patient mobility and function.
• Motivate patients through the treatment process, empowering them to take charge of their rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and discuss treatment options.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• No history of disciplinary actions or board actions affecting licensure.
• Strong manual therapy and exercise instruction skills are essential for this role.
• Proficiency in using EMR software such as WebPT to maintain accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Experience in developing tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving patients' overall health.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively motivate and instruct patients throughout their rehabilitation process.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
