Retention Coordinator

Retention Coordinator (Short-Term Contract | Immediate Start | Onsite) Are you passionate about helping individuals rebuild their lives and secure meaningful employment? We're partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit to hire a Retention Coordinator to support a harm reduction workforce program serving adults with lived experience. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll work directly with participants to prepare them for the workforce, connect them to opportunities, and support them through the job placement process.
What You'll Be Doing

What You'll Be Doing
- Coach participants on resume development and interview skills
- Help job seekers identify and apply to opportunities
- Build relationships with employer partners to support placements
- Follow up with participants and track progress toward employment
- Support onsite hiring events and workforce development activities
- Maintain accurate records of participant interactions and outcomes
- Professionals with experience in:
- Case management
- Workforce development or job placement
- Homeless services, substance use support, or similar populations
- Case management
- Individuals comfortable working with trauma-informed and harm reduction approaches
- Candidates who can jump into an active caseload and ramp quickly
- Experience working with unhoused or vulnerable populations (required)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple participants and stay organized
- Experience with resume coaching, job readiness, or placement support
- Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative, mission-driven environment
