Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories in detail
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab work

• Provide intraoperative assistance, which includes prepping the surgical environment, ensuring correct patient positioning, and managing instrument handoffs during operations
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, covering medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient counseling

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in surgical rotations is strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
