Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical evaluations and in-depth medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work in close partnership with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, preparing surgical suites, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing instrument exchanges during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-surgical care, which includes medication management, wound care, discharge preparations, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical disciplines

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
