This position will be responsible for incentive processing, daily bank activity coding and recording to the general ledger, daily bank accounts reconciliations, merchant settlements reconciliation, month-end close and reconciliations, journal entries, escheatment, and audit support. Our ideal team member will have strong work ethics, demonstrated knowledge of cash accounting and operational accounting functions, be detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills. Intermediate-level Excel is a must. Experience with bank portals, payment applications, and merchant settlements is required.Duties and ResponsibilitiesHandle treasury activities related to incentive processing such as prefunds, reimbursements, variance reconciliations.Code and record bank activity to the ledger, transfer funds and reconcile bank accounts daily.Apply customer payments and resolve unapplied payments timelySet up wire payments via bank portals, verify payment informationMatch merchant settlements to reports, upload details to ERPAssist with month-end closeComplete month-end reconciliations analyze variancesPrepare, process, and record journal entries related to cash and incentives including supporting documentationProvide support to internal and external auditsPrepare ad-hoc reports and provide support to special projects as assigned by management.In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…Prior experience as a cash or treasury accountantPerform assigned tasks based on objectives with minimal supervisionExcellent time management skills – a strong, self-starter with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Must be organized and efficient.Exercise sound judgment – the ability to apply sound judgment and initiative in interpreting policies and procedures; understand the difference between exercising initiative and when to ask questions and/or escalate issues to the manager.Strong MS Excel skills – proficient in VLOOKUPS, TEXT functions, Pivot tables, and data import/export.Positive Attitude and Supportive Team member – ability to work individually and within a team and remain positive, productive, and flexible during peak and high-pressure periods.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – ability to listen to others, communicate professionally with all levels of the organization, and willingness to work through organizational change and growth.Ability to identify discrepancies, reconcile variances, and solve problems independentlyTake ownership of assigned work to ensure deliverables are completed timely and free from errorsPossess an advanced knowledge of accrual accounting conceptsEducation and ExperienceA bachelor's degree in accounting, required8 + years of relevant experienceProficiency in complex reconciliation and variance analysis, requiredExperience with accounting systems, especially WorkDay, is desirableJPM Access portal desirableTarget Compensation:$80,000-90,000.00/annualCompensation Range$69,300.00 - $103,900.00CurrencyUSDTypeSalaryAny offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.CLEAResult will not provide sponsorship or support for immigration status or work authorization including for international students.
