Sr. Civil Structural Engineer

Pasadena, Tx: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support industrial projects involving structural and foundation design, with a focus on petrochemical and heavy industrial applications. Prepare structural and foundation designs for industrial projects. Design heavy equipment foundations, pipe racks, pipe supports, access platforms, pump foundations, and vessel foundations. Manage cost and time constraints across multiple projects. Prepare and maintain safety and environmental aspects of projects. Execute structural designs using RISA products, calculation spreadsheets, Hilti PROFIS, AutoCAD, and CADWorx. Apply applicable industrial codes and standards, including ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC, and PIP. Utilize laser scans as part of facility design when required. Collaborate with project teams to achieve project goals and maintain effective communication. Requirements/Skills 6–12 years of Civil/Structural engineering design and construction experience within the petrochemical industry. Current Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural engineering analysis/design software, including RISA products and Hilti PROFIS. Strong knowledge of ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC, and PIP codes and standards. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish credibility and work effectively with others. Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting cost and schedule requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to work in an industrial/project environment and perform duties associated with engineering design and construction activities. Ability to comply with applicable safety, environmental, OSHA, and company requirements.
