Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:6 patient ratio; every other weekend required; maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; RTO blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4-12)

Highlights:

• 38-bed Medical Surgical unit with remote telemetry monitoring and average daily census of 33 patients
• Epic charting system required; additional systems include Pyxis and SBAR
• Patient population spans adolescents through geriatrics with diverse medical surgical diagnoses
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Floating may be required within facility based on scope of practice; no call requirements
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred
• Skills in peripheral line care/management, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, use of rapid response/code teams, and isolation precautions
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; all core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
