We operate a high volume, fast-paced organization, three businesses, with multiple sales channels; (retail, wholesale and online) with 12+ accounts.
Onsite : Mon-Fri; Marietta, GA
Small, laid back office!
Our bookkeeper is responsible for:
- Review and reporting daily cash
- Posting payments to vendors
- Verify and Post Journal Entries from the retail POS System to QBO
- Weekly review & reporting A/R, A/P and any discrepancies in transactions
- Reconcile payments to invoices and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist with projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with accounting and AML policies and procedures
- Process 8300 reports in a timely manner
- Maintain records for the CPA and assist with 1099's and annual tax information
- Prepare and present monthly operating statements
- File timely sales tax reports and payments
- Participate in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes
** Requirements ** :
- Accounting certificate, degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online.
- Full charge Bookkeeping.
- Self-Starter with ability to work with operations team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
