Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule: 12H rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), rotating every 2 weeks, every other weekend.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements:

• MA License required (or temporary license) at the time of submission
• 3 years of related work experience required
• CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications required
• Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications
• EMR experience required, EPIC preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred
• MAB certification strongly preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess and triage patients effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
• Demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to patient safety.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday).
• No RTO will be approved.
• Parking can cost up to $43/day in some cases.
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility.
