Known for quality workmanship, fast turnaround times, and long-term customer relationships, we are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Milling Machinist to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in CNC milling machine setup and precision machining.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Set up and operate CNC milling machines
• Install and align tooling, fixtures, vises, and workholding equipment
• Load CNC programs and enter machine offsets
• Set tool lengths, feeds, speeds, and zero points
• Run test parts and make adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Verify part quality before production
• Maintain ISO and company quality standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience in manufacturing
• CNC milling setup experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and work with tight tolerances
• Experience with precision measuring equipment
• CNC programming knowledge preferred
• Experience with Mastercam and/or BobCAD is a plus
• communication and problem-solving skills
• ISO manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday

• Maintain compliance with ISO quality standards and company procedures
