INTERDISCIPLINARY NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP)

Job Title

You will review medical documentation submitted for waiver consideration.

You will use the experience and knowledge gained by direct patient care to review the medical waiver packages of applicants (patients) to determine suitability for Naval service.

You will coordinate, discuss, and respond to waiver request cases with a variety of authorized military and civilian medical professionals, administrative clients and program managers.

You will record brief, coherent notes in the currently used document management system, summarizing relevant medical information as they pertain to the applicant's case, the relevant program, and the waiver recommendations.

You will assist in the operation of the Medical Review Authority Division (N33), at the Division Director's discretion.
