Registered Nurse (RN) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit FT Nights

Job Overview Position: RN (Registered Nurse) – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, NJ. Hourly rate $49.28–$66.05 per hour, based on qualification and experience. Shift: Night 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., Monday – Friday with alternating weekend and holiday rotation. Full‑time, 36 hours per week. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited NLN nursing program. Strong communication skills. Flexibility and adaptability to meet unit needs. Proficient computer skills. Preferred BSN degree. Prior NICU experience. Certifications and Licenses: Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement. BLS from the American Heart Association. NRP certification within 90 days of hire. Scheduling Requirements Night Shift, 7p–7a. Full Time – 36 hours per week. Monday – Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation. Essential Functions Provide nursing care within scope of the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. Ensure safety and uphold evidence‑based practice principles. Report safety issues and potential medical errors. Maintain knowledge of patient population and practice areas. Supervise and delegate tasks, collaborating with multidisciplinary team.
