PC Support Technician

IT Support Specialist (Desktop & Mobile Device Support)

Location: Renton, WA (100% Onsite)

Pay Rate: $21.57/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Duration: Long-term contract (12+ months)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide software, desktop, and handheld device support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide phone-based and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and software applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, imaging, and access-related issues.
• Perform laptop hardware repairs and component replacement, including memory, motherboards, and other internal components.
• Image and configure systems for deployment.
• Communicate effectively with users and internal support teams to resolve technical issues.
• Document support activities and maintain accurate records.
• Manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues.
• Ability to disassemble and reassemble laptops for repair.
• Experience with operating system imaging and deployment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
• Must be able to work onsite five days per week.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance are required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card /Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ Certification (or willingness to obtain within one year of hire).
• Additional IT certifications such as Google IT Support, Coursera IT, or similar.
• Previous help desk, desktop support, or technical support experience.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to pass a drug screening (non-THC) and 7-year background check.
• Occasional travel may be required for training and support activities.
• Candidates must be dependable and able to maintain regular attendance, particularly because this position supports business-critical operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Renton, WA.

The pay range for this position is $21.57 - $21.57/hr.
