Job Description Summary Technician This Technician role performs preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on a fleet of equipment, including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment. Physical demands: requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Sunbelt Rentals is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired. 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment) strongly preferred. May need to provide tools of the trade. Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills. Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills. Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
