Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado DOE Teaching License with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement
- Fluency in both English and another language (Spanish strongly preferred)
- Experience in early childhood special education, child find evaluations, or school psychology
- Ability to travel between multiple school and evaluation locations
- Commitment to timely submission of all district-required credentialing paperwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive bilingual Child Find evaluations for young learners (ages birth to five)
- Travel between North Star Elementary, Centennial Elementary, and additional district evaluation sites
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including school psychologists and SPED professionals
- Prepare timely and accurate evaluation reports, supporting district eligibility and placement decisions
- Adapt to district-level assessments and possible cross-discipline collaboration
