As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Monitor in Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this public-facing environment, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming experience for staff and visitors.

DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government services location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, and/or perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and common areas, verify authorized entry when required, and/or assist staff and visitors with directions, questions, and general support.
- Support a professional environment by observing resident and visitor activity, addressing policy-related concerns when appropriate, and/or communicating with site personnel and first responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
