Service Advisor PositionSouth Dade Toyota is seeking a detail-oriented and personable Service Advisor to join our growing team. The Service Advisor initiates automotive services and repairs by determining performance problems and services requested, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, developing estimates, writing repair orders, and maintaining customer rapport and records.What We Offer:Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) RetirementVacation OptionsCompetitive Pay PlanFriendly Working EnvironmentOpportunity for internal promotion and career growth within the dealershipResponsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Obtain customer and vehicle information, clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by customer and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicleDevelop and prepare accurate cost of materials, supplies, and labor and calculate customer's paymentPrepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required, obtains approval signatures, and enters RO into service databaseBuilds and maintains customer rapport by explaining estimate, answering customer questions and concerns, obtaining and providing contact numbers, providing expected return of vehicle, and arranging towing and temporary transportation as applicableOversees quality control and technicians working on customers' vehicles, including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, and job completion timesParticipate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as applicableRequirements:Previous experience as an automotive Service Advisor and a working knowledge of automobilesProfessional personal appearance and work ethicProficient use of computers, business software, and equipmentExcellent communication and organizational skillsFriendly and customer service focusedAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to customersAbility to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outsideValid Driver's License with clean driving recordComplete Pre-employment Background check and Drug ScreeningBilingual in English and Spanish is requiredSouth Dade Toyota is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
