We areseeking a Locums Family Medicine Physician for an outpatient primary careopportunity in Franklin, Virginia. This position offers a predictable weekdayschedule with no call or weekend responsibilities.

- Schedule: Monday-Wednesday, 8:00AM-2:00 PM
- No weekends
- No call
- 10-16 patients per day
- Outpatient primary care only
- No trauma responsibilities
- EMR: Epic
PatientPopulation
- 51% Adult
- 48% Geriatric
- 1% Pediatric
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatientFamily Medicine care.
- Evaluate and manage acute andchronic medical conditions.
- Provide preventive care andhealth maintenance.
- Perform routine primary careprocedures, including Pap smears and diabetic foot exams.
- Manage diabetes, hypertension,hyperlipidemia, and other common chronic conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostictesting as appropriate.
- Provide patient education andcounseling.
- Coordinate specialty referralswhen needed.
- Maintain accurate and timelydocumentation in Epic.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Family MedicinePhysician
- Active Virginia medical licenserequired
- Current DEA
- BLS and ACLS required
