West Hills Veterinary Centre is seeking an experienced Veterinary Client Services Specialist to join our compassionate and dedicated team. If you enjoy building relationships with pet owners, thrive in a busy veterinary environment, and are passionate about delivering exceptional service, we would love to hear from you.
As a Veterinary Client Services Specialist, you are often the first and last person our clients interact with during their visit. Your professionalism, empathy, and organizational skills help create a welcoming experience while supporting our doctors, technicians, patients, and pet families.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications- 1-2 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital is required.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple phone lines, appointments, and client requests efficiently.
- Excellent computer, scheduling, and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional during stressful or emotional situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn and grow within the veterinary field.
- Greet clients and patients while providing an outstanding customer experience.
- Answer incoming calls and assist clients with scheduling, questions, and appointment needs.
- Coordinate wellness visits, surgeries, and other veterinary services.
- Process payments and maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, medications, treatment plans, and hospital services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with administrative and client service tasks to support daily hospital operations.
- Help create a positive, supportive environment for clients, patients, and team members.
