This engaging role focuses on working closely with students who have intense disabilities, including those who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or rely on augmentative and alternative communication devices. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological testing and evaluations for K-12 students with intensive levels of support needs.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Provide guidance on adaptive techniques and assistive technologies to enhance student communication and participation.
• Travel between multiple campus locations within the district as needed (travel details to be discussed).
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments and support compliance with all district and legal requirements.
• Caseload specifics and additional details will be provided during the interview process.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience working with K-12 student populations, particularly those with significant disabilities and complex communication needs.
• Strong understanding of assessment procedures and report writing.
• Comfort utilizing and recommending assistive technology for students.
• Ability to travel between district sites as required.
