Make a meaningful impact supporting students with diverse needs in a contract position spanning the upcoming school year. Work directly with K-12 students, focusing on conducting psychological assessments for those with significant disabilities—ranging from non-verbal communication to students using assistive technology or with physical impairments. This hands-on role emphasizes testing and evaluation to help guide educational planning and student success.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students with complex needs
• Interpret evaluation results and provide recommendations for individualized educational planning
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
• Travel between school sites as needed to serve students at multiple campuses
• Complete all required documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate cultural sensitivity when working with diverse student populations
• Participate in meetings and IEP development as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible School Psychologist certification/license for Kansas
• Experience working with students with intense disabilities, including non-verbal or physically impaired students
• Familiarity with assistive technology for communication is highly valued
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability for working across multiple locations
• Commitment to ethical practice, student advocacy, and collaborative teamwork
