Lead CT Technologist

Role Overview: This position involves providing safe, high-quality CT imaging services, performing a variety of technical procedures with independent judgment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The technologist will set up equipment, position patients, and perform advanced protocols such as TAVR and Cardiac CTA. They will mentor colleagues, oversee departmental operations in the absence of leadership, and contribute to process improvements. Key Responsibilities Verify orders, obtain patient history, and administer contrast media safely. Ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, and review images for diagnostic quality. Respond to emergencies, monitor patient condition, and protect patient privacy. Perform advanced CT protocols, maintain equipment, and ensure radiation safety. Maintain workflow, manage supplies, and support departmental efficiency. Train and mentor staff, participate in meetings, and support regulatory compliance. Communicate effectively with patients and staff, providing clear instructions and education. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R), ARRT CT (ARRT-CT), and BLS certifications. Minimum 2 years clinical experience, including 1 year in CT. Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills. Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control. Ability to teach, mentor, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
