CT Technologist

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and providing a supportive patient experience. Responsibilities Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images while maintaining safety and quality. Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to minimize radiation exposure (ALARA). Ensure equipment cleanliness, report issues, and follow infection control protocols. Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using AIDET communication. Administer contrast, position patients accurately, and review images for diagnostic quality. Document procedures accurately, manage RIS/PACS systems, and ensure proper study finalization. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment readiness. Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience. Certifications in ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).
