CT Technologist

Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They operate imaging equipment independently, capturing diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols and ALARA principles. Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures following departmental guidelines, ensuring diagnostic quality. Maintain equipment and work environment through cleaning and infection control. Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Explain procedures, address patient questions, and provide age-appropriate care. Administer contrast agents using sterile technique and perform imaging accurately. Review and finalize images in RIS/PACS, ensuring proper documentation. Respond to emergencies, monitor patient condition, and maintain life-support equipment. Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure compliance with regulations. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS from the American Heart Association.
