Air & Ocean Logistics Coordinator
Location: Redondo Beach, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: starting $28hr Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm
Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Air & Ocean Logistics Coordinator to manage international shipments, including Air and Ocean Import/Export, and Transborder Canada. This role focuses on booking, documentation, compliance, and coordination with carriers and customers.
Responsibilities
Manage Air Export operations (50%) including booking, documentation, and compliance.
Coordinate Transborder Canada shipments (25%) with carriers, brokers, and customers.
Handle Ocean Export shipments (25%) including scheduling, bills of lading, and carrier communications.
Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, Canadian border regulations, and international trade laws.
Track shipments, resolve delays, and maintain accurate records in company systems.
Provide proactive communication and customer service to clients and vendors.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations
- Knowledge of Air and Ocean Import/Export and Canada cross-border shipping
- Experience with export documentation and compliance
- Proficiency in CargoWise and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
