Accounting Manager

Position Accounting Manager Summary Manages various accounting including ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue and asset accounting, as well as associated analysis and reporting. Evaluates and makes improvements to accounting processes while ensuring that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations. Leads and directs accounting professional and support staff as required. Essential Duties Oversee the daily operations of Finance & Accounting Match vendor invoices and enter in to the Accounting System Review accounts payable batches for accuracy Match checks to invoices, cut checks, file paid vendor invoices, create sales invoice Work with all departments to confirm invoicing item, and reconcile on issues Bank Reconciliation Operations related to monthly closing Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against the budget Manage the preparation of financial reportsAssist on Board Meeting materials Work with management using financial information to sustain and improve on the financial health Coordinate and work on financial planning and budget management functions. Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance. Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts. Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal budgetary reporting. Working Hours / Working style 8:00am-5:00pm / On-site Working Location Cranbury, NJ Salary / Benefit $100K-150K Holidays Weekends, Holidays Qualifications Expert to Japan financial accounting. US Accounting practices desirable. Experience in operating finance platforms such as Oracle, SAP would be desirable. Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong accounting experience. At least five (5) years experience in mid to senior level finance or accounting position. Knowledge of finance, accounting, taxation, budgeting and cost control. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Ability to make independent and objective decisions and work with minimal supervision. Detail oriented, driven to mistake-free work with excellent follow-up. Have experience in working with a team with capability to handle fluctuating volume of work and time pressure. Must be accessible to all laboratory, manufacturing, and office areas. Specific vision requires include reading of written documents and use of a computer. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. CPA certification is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
