THE ROLE As Director of Sales and Marketing, you will own the full sales cycle - from awareness to move‑in - while building and nurturing a strong network of professional referral relationships across Houston's healthcare and senior care landscape. You'll develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives, manage the community's CRM, and serve as the face of Heritage of Meyerland in every conversation with prospective residents, families, and community partners. You will dedicate approximately half of your time to external outreach - meeting with hospitals, physicians, and senior care professionals - while also overseeing the move‑in experience internally, ensuring every new resident and family feels welcomed with warmth and professionalism. You'll plan and host community events, manage the marketing budget with clear accountability for results, and stay sharp on market trends through ongoing professional development. WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL The ideal candidate brings at least two years of proven experience developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, ideally in senior living, healthcare, or a related field. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. You are proficient in Microsoft Office, comfortable managing a CRM platform, and hold a valid driver's license with a clean record. Experience working with individuals living with dementia is a meaningful plus. Beyond credentials, you lead with integrity. You understand that business acumen and human empathy are not in conflict - they're most powerful together. You take initiative without being asked, stay curious in the face of challenges, and never stop looking for ways to serve others better.
