Essential Job Functions
- Payment Processing: Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Transaction Management: Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
- Billing & Reconciliation: Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits; reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Problem Solving: Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues; be resourceful in finding alternative solutions to complex problems.
- Client Relations: Facilitate invoice payments by sending bill reminders and professionally assisting callers with department inquiries.
- Reporting: Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status; prepare customer statements.
- Account Setup: Perform new client review and account setup.
- Compliance: Understand and comply with various state and federal regulations impacting the protection of personal data (HIPAA).
- Education: High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related administrative/financial role preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and Word) and Zoho preferred.

- Ability to work well independently in a high-energy, deadline-driven atmosphere.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
