Seeking an Associate Dentist to join our team in Lubbock, TX. This role is well-suited for a dentist who enjoys providing comprehensive patient care while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive, close-knit practice environment. You will play an active role in diagnosing and treating a variety of dental conditions while helping to build lasting relationships with patients.

What You'll Be Doing

• Examining patients and reviewing dental and medical histories to assess oral health needs
• Diagnosing dental conditions and developing appropriate treatment plans
• Performing general dentistry procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and preventive treatments
• Interpreting X-rays and other diagnostic images to inform treatment decisions
• Explaining treatment options clearly to patients and addressing any concerns
• Prescribing medications as needed, in accordance with applicable regulations
• Referring patients to specialists when necessary and coordinating ongoing care
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with privacy standards
• Adhering to proper sterilization and infection control procedures
• Collaborating with dental assistants and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Participating in mentorship opportunities and continued professional development
• Staying informed on new techniques, materials, and technologies in dentistry

What We're Looking For

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Active, valid dental license in good standing as required by the state of practice
• Strong clinical skills across a range of general dentistry procedures
• Effective communication skills with patients and colleagues
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, patient-centered care
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfort with dental practice software and digital imaging systems
• Professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety standards
