Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Duct Superintendent I At Corvant, we provide specialty HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical services to mission-critical commercial and industrial environments. Our teams support essential facilities across data centers, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, and education. The HVAC Superintendent supervises employees and maintains a safe working environment compliant with government regulatory guidelines and OSHA Safety regulations on multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires travel. Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive): Ensure work site is compliant with OSHA regulations and RBS Safety protocols. Manage and schedule installation of HVAC material and equipment. Maintain consistent contact and coordination with General Contractors to be aware at all times of expected installation dates. Request and coordinate HVAC material and equipment needs with purchasing department. Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to the job site. Check options and equipment list to ensure material is correct. Keep project status up to date to ensure timely delivery. Lay out crews to install material on scheduled dates. Attend and participate in GC meetings. Conduct weekly inspections, and safety meetings. Provide copies of signed safety forms to General Contractor and RBS Safety team. Walks job constantly to follow-up with Foreman and installers. Schedule and direct quality control technician daily, communicate with technician constantly to maintain schedule. Identify problems that need to be corrected and conduct quality control inspections personally. Follow-up on all purchase orders and/or extra work. Track deliveries and materials on site. Maintain open and positive communication with Trade Partners. Manage Sub-contractors, ensure work done meets contract and company requirements. Keep up to date with all RBS Policy and Procedures, industry standards and government regulations. Available via telephone after hours and on weekends for emergency and/or customer-related issues. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Minimum of 15 years' experience running commercial or healthcare projects Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, HVAC systems, project schedules, submittals and job specifications Open availability to travel, work after hours, and work overtime Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial and industrial. Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems. Must have a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and the ability to maintain required insurance coverage Installation of HVAC materials, equipment, and appropriately matched systems. Ability to work cooperatively with other trades. Must have team building skills. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective verbal, presentation and listening communication skills. Effective negotiation and mediation skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 suite and custom accounting software. Time Management and Stress Management skills. Mathematical aptitude. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to complete Form I-9 upon hire. Employment subject to E-Verify confirmation. Must be able to travel to multiple construction site within the U.S. and present acceptable identification for security or travel purposes. Reliable transportation and ability to meet job-site access requirements. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. OSHA 30 Certification required. Valid Driver's License Physical Requirements: Required to stand, walk, and sit. Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
