New York Licensed Psychotherapist

To support a growing practice, the full-time New York Licensed Psychotherapist specializing in LGBTQ+ issues will provide psychotherapy services to a caseload of individuals, couples, and families, while working remotely and engaging in clinical supervision and community workshops. Key responsibilities: Provide psychotherapy services to a minimum caseload of 25 completed sessions per week Maintain accurate case notes and documentation while participating in individual and group supervision Assist in the creation and implementation of workshops and training opportunities as they arise Required qualifications: Possess an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed in New York At least 1 year of experience in providing therapy to LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals Experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing individual, couples, and family therapy Demonstrated success in implementing modalities such as CBT, trauma-informed practices, and psychodynamic psychotherapy Commit to a minimum of 3 years with the practice
