Senior AEM Solution Architect (Parsippany-Troy Hills)

We are seeking an accomplished Senior AEM Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale digital experience platforms within a major travel and mobility organisation.
This is a senior, hands-on architecture role covering Adobe Experience Manager, cloud-native content platforms, CDN and edge architecture, modern frontend frameworks, headless solutions, BFF services and enterprise integrations .
You will take architectural ownership across:
- AEM Sites, Assets, Headless and hybrid implementations
- AEM as a Cloud Service and platform-modernisation initiatives
- Reusable component, template and content-model frameworks
- Workflows, Multi Site Manager, localisation and multi-site strategies
- Dispatcher configuration, caching, performance and scalability
- CDN and edge platforms including Akamai, CloudFront, Cloudflare or Fastly
- React, Angular or Vue applications and micro-frontend patterns
- BFF services built using Node.js, Java or Spring Boot
- GraphQL, REST and Sling Model integrations
- CI/CD pipelines, DevOps and cloud deployments
- Authentication, authorisation and application security
You will also establish architectural standards for performance, accessibility and user experience while partnering with engineering, infrastructure and security teams to deliver secure, resilient and highly scalable digital platforms.
What We’re Looking For
- Expert-level knowledge of AEM 6.x and/or AEM as a Cloud Service
- Deep understanding of Sling, OSGi, JCR and HTL
- Strong AEM Dispatcher, workflow and MSM experience
- Strong knowledge of CDN, edge caching, routing, WAF and bot mitigation
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks and SPA architecture
- Knowledge of headless AEM, GraphQL and API-driven solutions
- Experience designing BFF and enterprise integration layers
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, cloud deployment and security
- Experience integrating CRM, commerce, identity, analytics and personalisation platforms
- Adobe AEM Architect or Developer certification
- Multi-brand, multi-region or multilingual platform architecture
- Adobe Dynamic Media and image/video optimisation
- Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics integrations
