Hours: 24 hours per week
Preferred Days: Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday
Clinic Hours: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Employment Type: Temporary with potential for permanent placement

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join a newly built health center in Kokomo, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly regarded employer in a modern clinical setting.

The Nurse Practitioner will assist and support physicians and other medical providers in assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality patient care. The patient population consists mainly of adults, with some patients aged 16 and older.

This position may become temporary-to-permanent for the right candidate. The client is also evaluating whether the role will remain part-time or transition into a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients aged 16 and older
• Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and biometric screenings
• Develop and support individualized patient care plans
• Perform point-of-care testing and laboratory draws
• Provide chronic disease management and patient education
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical providers
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow established clinical, safety, and regulatory procedures

Required Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• Completion of an accredited and certified Nurse Practitioner program
• Active BLS certification
• Primary care experience
• Experience performing physicals and biometric screenings
• Experience with point-of-care testing and laboratory draws
• Experience managing patients with chronic health conditions
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills

Additional Information

• No dispensing license is required
• Nurse Practitioner candidates are preferred
• Scheduling flexibility may be available
• Preferred workdays are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
• Available clinic hours are 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• The previous Noblesville site has closed, and this position is based exclusively at the new Kokomo Wellness Center
• The position may become permanent and could potentially transition to full-time
