Outpatient Infusion Nurse

Pay: $35.25 - $43.85 DOE

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Outpatient Infusion Nurse to join our Cancer Center team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and other infusion therapies in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies as prescribed by oncologists.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage side effects related to treatments.
• Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, potential side effects, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in oncology nursing.
• Provide emotional support and resources to patients and families throughout their treatment process.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NH state license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) is a plus.
• Previous experience in oncology required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule:

• Full-time, M-F 8a-5p
