Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor: All shifts available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Supervises staff and operations of all departments within the Plant. Maintains production schedules, plans and assigns work, performs pre-shift meetings, trains employees, and has authority for hiring, termination, discipline, and performance decisions. Responsible for maintaining product quality standards. Performs and oversees inspections and audits. Assists Support Departments in the Plant to troubleshoot production problems and take preventive or corrective action. Recommends changes to improve quality and reduce costs. Makes sure all employees follow all Company rules and Regulations, SOP's, and Policies.

1. st shift 6am-2:30pm
2. nd shift 2p-10:30p
3. rd shift 10p-6a

Responsibilities: Train and coach production line employees. Coordinate production start‑ups, shutdowns, and changeovers. Conduct employee performance reviews. Responsible for the shift schedule to include work station assignments, rotations, employee training, vacations, breaks, overtime assignment, backup for absent employees, and shift rotations; coordinate with Human Resources and Plant Manager for appropriate staffing levels. Schedule and conduct shift meetings. Meet shift production goals. Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs). Communicate with other shift supervisors and Plant Manager. Complete shift paperwork. Assist in production as necessary. Requirements: Familiarity with weld operations. Prior supervisory experience. Union environment a plus. MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
