Full Stack Lead Security Engineer (AI/ML)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in public cloud concepts, plus advanced hands-on experience with cloud-native AI services such as Bedrock
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and trends, including foundational AI red teaming knowledge for designing and conducting exercises across complex AI architectures
• Ability to develop, validate, and communicate creative technical solutions to enterprise security challenges, including internal tools, dashboards, and red teaming automation
• Preferred: Expertise planning, designing, and implementing AI red teaming exercises and enterprise security solutions for generative AI, LLMs, and ML systems
• Preferred: Experience with AI security and red teaming tools and frameworks such as PyRIT, Garak, or custom LLM evaluation harnesses, and contributions to AI security or open-source security projects
• Preferred: Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability discovery, and penetration testing, including frameworks such as MITRE ATLAS and OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, and foundational cybersecurity concepts such as IAM, authentication, OIDC, and SAML

• Develop and improve security strategies, red teaming programs, and solution designs; troubleshoot technical issues and create scalable solutions
• Design secure, high-quality AI and software architectures, and review and challenge designs and code to strengthen resistance to adversarial attacks
• Reduce AI and LLM security vulnerabilities by applying industry standards and emerging AI safety research, and evolving policies, testing protocols, and controls
• Collaborate with product, data science, cybersecurity, legal, and risk stakeholders to understand AI use cases and recommend changes during periods of heightened vulnerability or regulatory change
• Automate discovery and adversarial testing of generative AI, RAG pipelines, and ML systems to identify risks such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, and data poisoning
• Advise on secure design, logging, monitoring, and compensating controls for AI applications and platforms
• Define and implement AI red teaming methodologies, playbooks, and success metrics, and establish continuous testing and safe rollout processes for new AI models and features
• Partner with platform and cloud security teams to secure infrastructure configurations and align them with enterprise security architecture
• Engage with external researchers, vendors, and standards bodies to monitor emerging AI threats and incorporate best practices
• Build relationships across a cross-functional team, influence senior stakeholders, and promote alignment on AI risk tolerance and mitigation priorities
