Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in Software Engineering and at least 5 years of applied experience.
• Strong system design, application development, and production operations skills, including a focus on stability.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to assess, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices in engineering, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and guidance for safe use within a team.
• Ability to influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations through pragmatic architectures, trade-offs, and standards aligned with SDLC, security, and control expectations.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI use cases, such as RAG, agents, prompt and tool orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and ecosystems such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face.
• Experience with distributed systems and at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and relational and/or NoSQL data technologies.
• Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted development tools and establishing expectations for validating outputs.
• Practical experience building cloud-native systems, including event-driven architectures, streaming, or service mesh.
• Preferred: Cloud certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of Python for AI/ML integrations and advanced Java proficiency.
• Preferred: Experience with multi-region deployments and zero-downtime releases.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Preferred: Strong communication skills, a proactive approach to continuous improvement, and a record of delivering scalable, reliable, secure products from concept to launch.

• Design and develop full-stack software solutions using innovative approaches.
• Lead the development and implementation of AI capabilities, including LLM-based services, orchestration, and integration into business workflows.
• Promote enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes; establish validation standards and share effective patterns across the team.
• Use authorized AI coding tools to support complex deliverables such as code generation, refactoring, unit tests, and documentation, validating results through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
• Apply software development lifecycle tools and authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities to improve the value of automation.
• Architect and deliver secure, scalable, resilient cloud-native microservices and REST or streaming APIs.
• Identify and automate responses to recurring operational issues, improving system stability and observability through logs, metrics, and tracing.
• Communicate project status and manage priorities across multiple initiatives.
• Collaborate in a Scrum team, take part in Agile ceremonies, and support an inclusive culture.
• Develop using Java, AWS ECS, EKS, and Postgres, and use AI agents such as Copilot or Claude to improve quality and delivery timelines.
