Lead Software Engineer - Plano

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a masters degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the role offered or in a related position such as Software Engineer or Assistant Systems Engineer.
• Alternatively, we will accept a bachelors degree in one of the same fields, plus 5 years of experience in the role offered or in a related position such as Software Engineer or Assistant Systems Engineer.
• We require experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting Snowflake data warehouse features.
• We require experience deploying and troubleshooting major cloud services in cloud platforms, including AWS.
• We require experience using Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform, to automate and streamline infrastructure deployments.
• We require experience administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows operating systems.
• We require experience using DevOps tools including Spinnaker, GitHub, and Jenkins to automate the software deployment lifecycle.
• We require experience applying Agile SDLC practices to improve development processes and collaboration.
• We require experience using application architecture and data architecture disciplines to make informed infrastructure decisions.
• We require experience using microservices to build scalable and reusable applications.
• We require experience developing applications and serverless services using programming languages including Python and SQL.
• We require experience using databases including DynamoDB and Snowflake to administer and resolve issues.
• We require experience using Bootstrap to build and initialize applications.
• We require experience using JSON to exchange and manipulate data between servers and web applications.
• We require experience using BI tools including Tableau and ThoughtSpot to analyze data and produce reports.
• We require experience with testing processes including automated, functional, performance, regression, smoke, system integration, unit, and user acceptance testing.
• We require experience using XML to structure and exchange data across systems.

• We lead the development of advanced Snowflake data warehouse features by testing, deploying, and troubleshooting capabilities to improve data management solutions.
• We drive efforts to improve data processing efficiency and reliability in support of business goals and value creation.
• We administer and resolve issues using SQL and Oracle databases while safeguarding data integrity and performance.
• We apply Agile SDLC practices to refine our development processes and delivery cycles.
• We use BI tools such as Tableau to analyze data and produce business reports that deliver actionable insights.
• We develop applications and serverless computing services using programming languages.
• We build cloud data solutions and tackle complex cloud challenges, including creating a Data Lake with advanced data integration platforms.
• We lead the design, development, and troubleshooting of innovative software solutions.
• We apply creative problem-solving to address complex technical issues and strengthen system robustness.
• We identify and automate remediation for recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• We architect data platforms and enable gen AI capabilities using advanced data integration platforms.
• We conduct code reviews and continually improve software engineering quality to ensure maintainable code.
• We leverage CI/CD tools to build and test application code quickly and streamline deployment.
