Description Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP system to support our accounting operations. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing project-based accounting in a government contracting or project-driven environment. Location: Newtown Square, PA (Corporate office) Key Responsibilities Help prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Utilize Costpoint for project accounting, cost tracking, and financial reporting Assist in ensuring compliance with GAAP and government regulations (e.g., FAR, DCAA if applicable) Support audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests Analyze financial data and provide insights to management Assist in system improvements and accounting process optimization Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4–6+ years of accounting experience Familiarity with cloud based ERP systems (e.g., Deltek, SAP, Oracle) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with government contracting or project‑based accounting (preferred) Strong knowledge of GAAP Experience with DCAA audits and FAR compliance Hands‑on experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar finance ERP system Experience in a mid‑to‑large size organization Key Competencies Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple deadlines Strong communication and leadership skills High level of integrity and professionalism Annual Salary Range $65,000 - $85,000 In determining compensation, various factors will be considered, including but not limited to, educational background; relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, market factors, and geographic location.
