Key Responsibilities

• Complying with state practice acts and regulations, demonstrating an understanding and adherence to the laws governing physical therapy practices.
• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations for patients with functional limitations, and developing highly tailored treatment plans that reflect those assessments.
• Implementing treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, patients' presentations, and best practices in the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Consulting with other healthcare professionals as necessary, while recognizing and documenting any changes in patient's conditions that may require adjustments in care plans.
• Handling discharge planning effectively and ensuring seamless follow-up care, which requires accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Maintaining compliance with all corporate and clinical service training while also ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Evaluating and documenting the medical necessity of physical therapy treatment for patients consistently.
• Participating in facility meetings and engaging with initiatives aimed at enhancing accessibility and the overall patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Our patients are often seeking relief from pain and improved mobility, and it is your expertise that will guide them on their path to recovery. Through a patient-centered approach, you will ensure that each treatment plan addresses both the immediate needs and long-term wellness goals of every individual.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited PT program is required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (DPT) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two (2) years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Current CPR certification is essential.

Preferred Experience

While two years of outpatient experience is required, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities or advanced clinical coursework are highly preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will also enhance the efficiency of documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

Access Control Physical Therapy & Wellness offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
