Work Environment

Operating in a dynamic outpatient office located in East Brunswick, NJ, our clinic is designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation and physical therapy. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with easy access to multidisciplinary team members including medical doctors, occupational therapists, and nurses, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced schedule for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of adult patients seeking physical therapy services.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to ensure optimal recovery and health maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals—including MDs, occupational therapists, and nurse practitioners—to enhance patient treatment outcomes.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation using the CureMD electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on individual responses to therapy.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and lifestyle modifications to support overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on treating adult patients, particularly those aged 40-65, who are experiencing a range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Our diverse patient population presents a unique opportunity to address various health challenges and contribute to their rehabilitation journey. You will work with patients recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic conditions, ensuring comprehensive care that addresses both immediate recovery and long-term health goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing effective communication and relationship building with patients, families, and team members.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities to tailor treatments effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient services.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly CureMD, is advantageous.
• Previously demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise methods and manual therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

Performance Enhancement Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
