Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is an onsite role that requires travel to patients' homes within designated territories in East Brunswick and surrounding areas. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with flexible scheduling options available to meet our patients' needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive in-home assessments to evaluate the physical conditions and mobility limitations of patients, allowing for personalized care plans that address specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic exercises, gait training techniques, and balance retraining strategies to enhance patient mobility and physical function.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about their treatment plans and how to effectively carry out prescribed home exercise programs, enabling them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care and achieving optimal outcomes through interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment in accordance with Medicare guidelines and Clinica Recovery's policies.
• Utilize your personal vehicle to travel to patient locations while ensuring safe and timely arrivals at each appointment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with a strong understanding of state regulations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably incorporating home health or outpatient settings.
• Possessing a valid driver's license and reliable transportation is essential for traveling to patient locations.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, time management, and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• A proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload in a homecare environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health settings is highly valued, providing a clearer understanding of the unique patients and challenges encountered outside of a traditional clinic environment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient information and treatment plans effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
