Facilities Coordinator (Project Management) The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of building systems and equipment. Responsibilities include vendormanagement, project planning, and supporting maintenance activities while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical operational tasks. Essential functions Assist the Facilities Director with the development and implementation of facility management policies, procedures, and standards. Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, building codes, and company policies and procedures. Manage repairs, and capital projects; monitor expenditures and forecast future needs. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for services such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Review and approve vendor invoices for capital projects, ensuring notarized sworn statements and lien waivers comply with contract terms and pricing. Manage facility upgrades, renovations, and capital improvement projects. Ensure energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives are implemented. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance and identify improvement opportunities. Respond and assist with emergency related facility issues. Maintain accurate records for audits, HUD assessments, and compliance reporting. Utilize project management and reporting tools for task tracking and documentation. Performs other related duties as assigned.
