We are looking for Vascular Surgeon for locum coverage in Portsmouth, VA
Position Details Portsmouth & Suffolk, VA Anticipated Start: March 1, 2027 Inpatient / Hospital-Based Adult & Geriatric Patients 20% Adult / 80% Geriatric Average Volume: 510 patients/day Epic EMR Beeper/Phone Call Average Callback: ~3 hours
Schedule
- MondayFriday: 8:30 AM4:30 PM daily coverage
- MondayFriday: 4:30 PM8:30 AM night call
- Weekend call: FridayMonday, 4:30 PM8:30 AM
- 24-hour call coverage as needed
- Coverage may include holidays, vacations, full weeks, or weekends
Clinical Scope
- Bread-and-butter vascular surgery
- Dialysis access
- Standard inpatient vascular procedures and care
Requirements Board Certified in Vascular Surgery Fellowship trained Active Virginia medical license Active DEA Must credential at both facilities Prior BSMH experience must be disclosed at name clear, including facility, last date worked, and agency
